A molar ratio is the ratio of moles of one substance to another in a chemical reaction. It comes directly from the COEFFICIENTS of the balanced chemical equation. Example: Nโ‚‚ + 3Hโ‚‚ โ†’ 2NHโ‚ƒ gives ratio 1:3:2.
